Summer Program Weekly Update

The Summer Program and the Sports Camp are having a great time!

The Sports Camp children were able to go play golf thanks to Backyard Sports. This was the first time many of them have been exposed to the game of golf.

Wacky Wednesday was a big hit as children earned prizes for noticing something "wacky" in their classroom. The SmartBoards were used every day for literacy and music and movement.

The Summer program went on their first trip to the Maritime Aquarium and had a great time. Although, the children were disappointed because they couldn't use the pool, our Rec Director Jeff made up for it with a water slide on Friday. They had a blast! Thanks, Jeff!

The Girl Scouts provided workshops on health and fitness for girls and a male social worker mentored the boys with different activities. The Carver Girl Scouts got their special t-shirts.

Chef Gustavo is on board, preparing nutritious meals for our campers with a smile! Thanks, Chef!

Children were crying because they didn't want to go home last Friday.
